My leave
Apply for leave from your own login, see the answer, and withdraw a request.
When to use
- You want to take annual leave or another kind of leave.
- You want to check whether a request has been approved.
Leave is for staff who record time. Use your own sign-in, not the shared workshop PC.
Overview
My leave lists your leave applications and their status: Requested, Approved, Declined or Cancelled. You reach it from the top bar, or from the Clock page. WSManager does not show your leave balance. Check that in your payroll system.

Key features
- Apply for leave with a leave type, first day, last day, an optional part day, and a note.
- Check days shows the working days and hours your request covers, before you send it. Weekends, days off and public holidays are not leave days, and the public holiday is named.
- Notifications. Your approvers are told straight away. You get a notification when your leave is decided.
- Withdraw a request that has not been decided.
How to: apply for leave
- Open My leave, then Apply for leave.
- Choose the Leave type.
- Enter the First day and Last day. For part of one day, enter hours under Part of a day: hours.
- Optionally add a note for the approver.
- Select Check days if you want to see the days and hours first.
- Send the request.
How to: withdraw a request
On My leave, select Withdraw beside the request and confirm.
Tips & gotchas
- If you clock on during approved leave, WSManager asks you to confirm that you are working. Your approver sees it.
- Overlapping leave is refused.
- Leave that has been approved can only be changed or cancelled by an approver.
