Key features

  • Details form (Supervisor, Office, Owner): asset, job type, where the work is, description, site details, customer order number, labour rate, expected hours, Work done and Internal notes. Internal notes never print on the job card.
  • Others see the same details read only. Labour rates show only to people who can edit.
  • Bookings: each booking shows date, start, person and hours, with planned hours against actual hours recorded. Edit or remove a booking, or add one with Add booking.
  • Time on this job: planned, labour, travel and actual hours, then each entry: date, who, time, hours, kind, and vehicle and km for travel.
  • Meter readings: record Meter in when the job comes in. The reading goes on the asset’s history.
  • Notes: anyone who can see the job can add a note. Each shows who and when.
  • History: every change to the job, with who made it and the reason.
  • Xero tracking: Owners and Office see whether the job’s tracking option has been created in Xero, with a Retry button if it failed.

Tips & gotchas

  • Parts are covered on Adding and requesting parts.
  • You cannot delete a job that has time on it. Cancel it instead; the time is kept.
  • A banner lists booking warnings after you create or change a job. They are saved even so.
  • On a shared workshop PC the job page is read only.
