Key features
- Search by name, phone, email, contact, rego, fleet number, serial, HIN or vessel. Choose Active customers, Inactive customers or All customers under Show.
- Details: name, Account customer (invoiced on account), phone, mobile, email, physical and postal address, notes.
- Labour rate override ($ per hour, excluding GST). Leave blank to use the job type’s rate.
- Order number required on jobs. New jobs for this customer warn that the invoice needs one.
- Active. Untick to hide a customer who no longer buys from you. Their history stays.
- Duplicate warning. If a customer with the same name exists, a warning offers Create anyway or Save anyway.
- Contacts: name, role, phone and email. Add as many as you need, for example a fleet manager or site supervisor.
- Xero link: see below.
Xero
When Xero is connected, each customer can be linked to a Xero contact.
- Link to it when Xero already has a contact with the same name.
- Search Xero contacts, then Link to pick one.
- Create in Xero makes a new contact from the customer.
- Refresh from Xero, Open in Xero and Unlink.
- If a customer has been changed in both places, This customer differs from its Xero contact. A table shows both sides. Choose Keep WSManager’s or Take Xero’s. Neither is overwritten until you choose.
- Name, email, phone, mobile and addresses go to Xero. Notes, labour rate, contacts and the order number flag stay in WSManager.
See Xero customers.
