Audit log
A record of who changed what, and when.
When to use
- You want to know who changed a setting, a job or a timesheet.
- You are checking what FSM Developments support did on your system.
Only Owners can see the audit log.
Overview
The Audit log shows the latest entries, newest first, in New Zealand time. Each row has When, Who, What, About, Change and Reason.
Key features
- Changes to time, approvals, exports, settings, staff and jobs are recorded with who made them and when, and the old and new values where there are any.
- A change made on a shared device also records which device.
- Everything the FSM Developments support login does is recorded under its name.
How to: read the log
- Go to Settings, then Audit log.
- Look down the What and About columns for the change you want.
Tips & gotchas
- Only the latest entries are shown.
- Corrections to a shift also appear in the shift’s own change history on Timesheets.
