Financial
The Financial menu holds the money side of jobs that WSManager handles. Right now that is the supplier orders and bills inbox.
When to use
- You keep the workshop’s supplier bills and purchase orders in Xero and want their costs on the right jobs.
The Financial menu is for Office and Owner. Its heading shows how many lines are waiting for a decision.
Overview
WSManager does not hold a ledger. Invoices, bills and payments live in Xero. WSManager holds what it needs to cost a job: which supplier lines belong to which job.
Key features
- Supplier bills: the inbox of purchase order and bill lines from Xero, waiting to be linked to jobs.
Tips & gotchas
- The menu appears only to roles that can see costs.
- Xero must be connected, with job cost accounts and a start date chosen, before anything comes in. See Connecting Xero.
